Pride and Prejudice

I have been at work all weekend. Hurray for overtime.

Today is Gay Pride in Seattle. Hurray for gays.

(My desk is right by the window, and my window looks out at the hideous Seattle Public Library. And the Gay Pride parade staging ground was right in front of the library. So I've been watching the goings-on since about 8:30 this morning. I have to say, watching the epic 5-hour behind-the-scenes staging of the 2 1/2 hour parade is way more interesting than watching the parade itself. I think I might come here next year with a pitcher of Bloody Marys and a pair of binoculars.)
