I'm coming to join you, Elizabeth!

Is anyone else wondering if Jesus will call Terry Schiavo, the pope AND Jerry Falwell home all at the same time?

I've long thought that Dahlia Lithwick is a genius. Here's proof.

Mum's the word

By the end of tomorrow night, I will have worked over 143 hours in two weeks (plus celebrated my birthday). So, I'm just saying, if I haven't been able to respond to your birthday greeting yet, that's why!

Oy, back to work....

Ray of Light

Yesterday was my 34th birthday. I went out the night before, to dance and drink and celebrate, and someone I know from work told me he figured I was 24. I know that was a shameful, horrible lie on his part, but it was a nice one.

The weekend was clear and sunny and warm, full of flowering trees and scented breezes. Gorgeous. The beautiful weather managed to last through my birthday, but this morning it's back to being overcast.

As I walked past the motel this morning on the way to the bus, I heard a whore sneezing (through the open window). You know, you think about how often children in day care get colds, or even health care professionals. But does anyone ever stop to think that whores might need flu shots too?

In Search Of Lost Time

It's a beautiful day in Seattle. The sky is blue, the air is fairly warm. All of the flowering trees are in full bloom, and the daffodils and crocuses couldn't be prettier. It's Spring.

Hmm. There you go. That's the only new thing in my life.
