The Dutch Bike Hits a Speed Bump
The Dutch Bike Plan encountered a serious difficulty recently. My landlord found out about it at 1:30 this morning, when he opened a letter from a towing company (then screamed loudly, waking up all the tenants). Turns out his Dutch Bike was towed, so now he'll have to pay more than the car is worth to release it from captivity and set it back on the streets in a convenient spot.
The tenants rejoiced. Even though they never did get back to sleep.
